Junk Car Company buys junk, wrecked and scrap cars in Chicago and picks them up, with free towing and payment at pickup. We built this site around the question that stalls most junk car sales: the paperwork.
What we do
You tell us about the car through the form, we call you with an offer, and a tow truck collects it. The tow is free. You're paid at pickup. Same-day pickup is often possible, and we confirm the time on the call.
We buy cars that are done: dead, wrecked, rusted out or parked for years. We don't pretend to be a used car dealer.
Why the site is about paperwork
If you've put off junking a car because the title is gone, this site is for you. A missing title is where the conversation starts, not where it ends. You tell us which papers you have, and we check them on the call against Illinois rules for scrap sales. We won't promise that any single paper is enough before we've heard the details.
The state's rules are a separate matter, and we keep them separate. Our paperwork guides quote the Illinois Vehicle Code and the Secretary of State's own pages and forms, with a link to each source, so you can check them yourself. They're general information, not legal advice.
Where the trucks go
This site has local pages for Chicago's Far South and Southeast Side: Roseland, Pullman, West Pullman, South Chicago, the East Side and Hegewisch. We also pick up across Chicagoland, including the Cook, DuPage and Will County suburbs, Joliet and Aurora, and in Northwest Indiana as far as Gary.
What we won't claim
You won't find star ratings, testimonials, award badges or a "years in business" number on this site. We don't print prices either, because the offer depends on the car, and you hear it on the call. We'd rather give you facts you can check than claims you can't.
